Vice President of BIM/Virtual Design & Construction Bernards

With over 21 years of experience, Darren Roos serves as Vice President of Building Information Modeling (BIM) services at Bernards. He guides project teams and clients through the comprehensive range of Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and BIM services and capabilities, having implemented and managed BIM and VDC on over $1 billion of projects.

Darren was one of the first BIM professionals to receive Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) certification from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). A well-respected leader in the BIM/VDC industry, he consults with BIM/VDC software companies to help them further test and develop their applications. He has also presented VDC/BIM topics to organizations including the Revit Technology Conference, Autodesk University, the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and U.S. Green Building Council. His achievements include a CMAA Project Achievement Award, BIM Fusion International BIM Award and LEED® AP accreditation. He also has expertise in Lean Production and Process Design and Improvement.
