Joshua Marriott is a construction technology expert with over 20 years of experience. He is passionate about using technology to improve the construction industry, and he is always looking for new and innovative ways to use technology to solve problems.
As the Director of Virtual Design and Construction for The Weitz Company, Josh leads companywide efforts to bring technology-based experiences to The Weitz Companies’ marketing, pursuit, construction, and operations groups. He is responsible for driving companywide efforts for architectural visualizations, BIM, renderings and animations, AR/VR, drone data and aerial content, video production/editing, game engine experiences, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Prior to his role in VDC, Josh spent time as an estimator and in various operational roles ranging from project engineer to project manager in both the commercial and residential construction sectors. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction.
